Hello and welcome to my website!

This little corner of the internet has taken me years to create—not because I couldn’t be bothered (though I won’t deny a talent for procrastination), but because I wasn’t sure what it wanted to become.

For a long time, I wondered if I should focus on my art.
Or the Belfair Gallery Art Wall, where I’ve spent years helping emerging artists show their work for the very first time.

But the truth is this: most of my energy, and my heart, is going into writing.

I’ve finished books.
I’m editing, revising, shaping, and reshaping.
And I’m standing at that exciting crossroads of deciding which publishing path to take.

So this space has finally become what it needed to be:
a home for my writing journey, the world of The Leopard Trilogy, and the winding creative process behind it. You’ll still find bits of my art and community work here, because they’re part of who I am—but the stories take center stage now.

Thank you for being here.

Join me on this wild adventure. From the spark of an idea to the final page, and wherever the path leads next.

From the Leopards Mouth Series

When sixty-year-old Mira opens the box, her grandmother kept hidden for decades, she doesn’t just uncover old photographs and a cracked leather journal — she awakens a legacy.

Not of wealth or inheritance, but of voice.

Decades earlier, Joan traveled to South Africa searching for something she couldn’t name. What she found in the wild bush of Timbavati and the quiet courage of the animals there changed everything — breaking a lineage of silence that had shadowed the women in her family for generations.

Now, as Mira reads her grandmother’s words and steps into the same red dust, she begins to feel the pull of her own transformation. The journey isn’t only about saving wildlife — it’s about saving herself.

Because this isn’t a story of conservation.

It’s a story of conversion — of fear to faith, pain to purpose, silence to song.

And in the heartbeat between woman and wild, Mira must decide which legacy she will carry forward.

Book Cover is a mock up. Not the final cover.

Book One — The Question / Joan’s Journal

When Joan travels to South Africa with her granddaughter Mira, she expects a simple, joyful adventure—one more page in a life already full of love, loss, and quiet resilience. But a single moment in the bush changes everything: Joan steps from a safari vehicle and encounters a leopard in a way that blurs the boundary between fear, instinct, and something far older than she can explain. As she returns home, fragments of memory begin slipping through her fingers, and Joan keeps a journal to anchor herself—to record what really happened, what she’s losing, and the truths she isn’t ready to speak aloud. Through her eyes, we witness a woman fighting to stay herself while unknowingly setting the course for the generations that follow.

Book One is where the legacy begins.

Book Two — Mira’s Move/Naledi’s Next

After returning from South Africa, Mira can’t shake the feeling that something inside her shifted in the bush—that her grandmother’s mysterious connection to the leopard wasn’t the end of a story, but the beginning of hers. When she volunteers at Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, Mira discovers a clarity she’s never felt before. The injured animals she cares for, the rhythm of the veld, and one unexpected moment of instinctive courage reveal a talent she didn’t know she had and a calling she can’t ignore. Mira’s Move follows her as she steps into purpose, finds her footing between grief and growth, and chooses the life shaped by the land her grandmother once feared—and loved.

Born into a legacy she never asked for, Naledi stands at the crossroads where family history, responsibility, and her own dreams collide. With a sanctuary to protect, shifting landscapes around her, and choices that will shape the future of both wildlife and the people she loves, Naledi must confront what it means to stay, to lead, and to choose for herself. Her story spans courage, loss, land, and inheritance—both the kind passed down in blood and the kind forged in the wild. Naledi’s Next is the continuation of a multi-generational journey, where the past whispers, the future waits, and Naledi must decide which path becomes hers.

Book Three — Naledi’s Choice

Naledi has grown up in the shadow of the stories that came before her—Joan’s journal, Mira’s calling, and the land that shaped them both. Now the sanctuary stands on the edge of change, and Naledi finds herself holding the pieces: family expectations, a future she isn’t sure she wants, and a landscape both fragile and fiercely alive. As new threats stir and old wounds resurface, she must decide what she is willing to fight for, what she is willing to let go, and who she is when no one else is choosing for her. Naledi’s Choice is a story of legacy, courage, and the moment a young woman steps fully into her own life—while carrying the echoes of the women who walked before her.
